The Klipptones are San Francisco’s hottest new crossover band, playing Sinatra-era standards straight, or mashed up with pop classics. Lately we're also into Elvis. Sinatra meets Beyonce. Ella versus MJ. Bobby Darrin and Color Me Badd. Nothing is too irreverent for us to try and make it something smashing brand new.
Here's our MASH UP OF THE MONTH, "It Had to Be You Send Me", mashing Harry Connick Jr. and Sam Cooke! Click here to listen!
And also check out last month's Mash Up of the Month, "Deed I Do" with the Police's "Every Breath You Take". Click here to listen!
The Klipptones are currently the historic Palace Hotel’s resident band, playing every Friday 8pm-midnight. We've also been featured at the Fillmore Jazz Festival, Union Square’s “Jewels in the Square”, Brick and Mortar, and San Francisco Pride’s 2013 VIP Party at City Hall.
