Josh first heard Chet Baker's version of this song on a compilation CD about 12 years ago.  He doesn't remember anything else off the CD, only the soft, vulnerable yet beautiful stylings of his future muse, Chet Baker.  Josh fell in love with the song, and with the voice of Chet Baker, and has remained in love all these years.  This version of "Everything Happens to Me" was recorded live with the Klipptones on November 10, 2010.  Josh plans to complete an entire album of tunes performed by Chet Baker in 2011 and 2012.
